The 2024 Bryan Fennell Memorial Tournament will be held on
SATURDAY March 16, 2024
The Barrington Golf Association (BGA) holds their annual Spring golf tournament on the Kingwood Country Club Lake course. The tournament is named in honor of our neighbor and good friend Bryan Fennell, who passed away at the age of 48 in 2018. Bryan was a large part of the tournament from its inception and is missed by everyone involved.
The tournament is an A-B-C-D Scramble and teams are selected in a competitive draft. The Men’s event is 18 holes and Women’s is 9 holes.
The Men’s Tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1:00. Please be at the club by 12:30 for your hole assignment. All golfers must check in with the pro shop.
The Women will tee off at 10:30 on the Lake Course. Please be at the course by 10:00 a.m. for your hole assignment.

10:00 Women meet at Club for review of rules and hole assignments.
10:30 Women tee off on front nine of the Lake course. Check in at the pro shop before teeing off.
12:30 Men meet at club for hole assignments, rules review and meet your team captain. All players must check in at pro shop.
1:00 Shotgun Start for Men’s tournament
6:30 Cocktail Hour at the MANOR HOUSE
Frozen Margaritas will be served
7:30 Dinner will be catered by Chachi’s Mexican Restaurant

Registration for the 2024 event will begin on December 1, 2023.
If you played in the tournament in 2023, then you are guaranteed a spot this year, provided you REGISTER and PAY by the deadline. Space is very limited and new players will be put on a wait list for spots that may open up.
Please note: IF YOU DID NOT PLAY IN 2023, YOU CAN REGISTER AND YOU WILL BE PLACED ON THE WAIT LIST FOR ENTRY INTO THE TOURNAMENT. We will contact you if a spot opens up and you can pay once you receive the invitation.
The deadline for registration and payment is February 9, 2024.
